New CJ7 owner and off road newbie here. I have a 1986 Jeep CJ7 and the battery is not being held down by anything. The vertical hold down pieces are still on the long sides of the battery, but there is no top bar to attach to and hold down the battery. I figured this would be an easy fix, but all universal battery hold downs seem to go across the short side of the battery, not the long way.
Anyone dealt with this before? Should I just bungee cord it down or is there a better solution?
