Hey guys, my buddy (which means me doing the work) toasted his trans. I found an aw4 out of a 2000 that were picking up tomoro. This is my first trans job and would like advice (im not a newbie, just never done a trans)
First, do I need any gaskets or seals?
Second, (main concern) what to do about the electronics to make it be correct. I know nss needs attention and im not sure how or what else needs done. please advise
Third, any tips, tricks, tools that are helpful and a general how to remove and replace?
Fourth, I plan on pulling out his tcase and bolting it to trans and putting everything in together.
Any and all advice would be great.
Thanks in advance. btw, swap will be done in my driveway. not a shop w lift. I do have all equipment needed it just sucks working on my back. again.
