So I'm thinking about starting to save up for an engine swap. I was thinking about a 5.3 because they would be pretty easy to find. A few question I had is along with the engine, what are some things that need to be changed as well? Also, would it be possible to keep my 6-speed manual or would I have to switch to automatic? And around how much would the cost be including labor if I found most of the parts at a junkyard?
