hatch adjustment and tools

So I went to try to bend out my right hatch hinge to get it back into proper position. Somehow bending it back and upwards caused the right side to drop lower???? That just defies logic but Ok, whatever, something else must be going on that I can't see.. Now, how are you supposed to fit a torx socket in that space to loosen the bolts? Are there some super low profile torx bits out there that I can't find anywhere or do I have to try to get a 1/8" socket and drive in the without breaking it? There's about 1/8" extra from the end of the socket to the body of the jeep. Unhooking the one attached lifter doesn't even want to give me enough clearance for a half inch socket and drive
