The PO of my CJ8 moved and replaced the ignition key to the dash. He installed it by removing the bottom heater control cable and using that hole.
I want to bring my ignition key back to the steering column. I don't have the keys for it and currently I can slide the cylinder out and also turn it free hand. I am overseas and my parents will be bring me some parts in May. I want to order a new key and cylinder. What other parts do I most likely need to make the new cylinder key work. I haven't taken the steering wheel off (I don't have a puller) to take a look inside. Any advice or guidance would be much appreciated.
