2004 Liberty just stalls but at random times. Can last a week or shorter. Took it to autozone the second time it has done it they tested it and said the alt was not working correctly. Battery was good. OK, so replaced the alternator and a week later again it stalled. Was near an autozone and now the battery and alt tested bad.
NOTE: once it stalls it will restart and stall again but never know when.
Alt is NEW and Battery is 2 years old.
At times the panel will go crazy. all the lights will blink and the speed will jump to 100 mph to 0 then things will stop and all will be good for sometime.
The newest things is now when turn off the jeep lights will stay on plus when driving the head lights will dim.
Anyone have a clue what to look for next. Auto part place has no clue and do not want to take it to the shop just yet.
