1994 zj 5.2 46re in limp mode

Hello all, my jeep grand cherokee literally just got is transmission rebuilt. I was driving it on the highway, clicked on the overdrive it engaged, unengaged it, after a minute or to when I went to accelerate it wouldn't go past 3000 rpms and seems to bog itself down when I would try to. Engine runs fine, and can Rev up perfectly. What could be causing this, I have a check engine light for my 02 sensor which has been on for awhile.
