I have a 1998 Cherokee and when I am at 55 or 60 mph my transmission is shifting up and down at a fast pace. I cant tell if its the torque converter or if its going in and out of overdrive. When it down shifts the RPM will go up about 300 RPM.
I have also discovered that it doesn't seem to be doing it if I have my A/C off.
Could this be a shift regulator going bad or is my tranny starting to go out?
