I'm looking to buy my first Jeep and I am looking at getting one of the newer model 2 doors (12-15). From reading this forum it sounds I might as well buy new because of the fact that they hold value so well.
I was thinking of just getting a sport or sport S but stumbled across some good prices on Willy's (see below). I'm willing to travel to pick it up if I can save some money, it seems like the dealers around Charlotte are pricey.
First off, if I'm just looking at this point to use it to get around town is the Willy's worth it? At some point I may do some off-roading but not anytime soon. I would want to put some upgraded tires on the sport if I went in that direction. Also, do you think I would get a better deal on a 15 now or should I just wait for 16? I'm really in no rush as this will be a second car to get around town in - I always said if I moved somewhere warm again I was buying a Jeep (moved to Charlotte).
Also, are all the exactly Willy's the same? There seems to be a wide variety of prices like these starting at $27k vs. others over $30k. Any thoughts around if I should go with Sport or check into a good price on a Willy's would be appreciated.
