did cj5s have hard tops?

Hey guys been looking for a hard top for my cj5 and the only one that I have found is a really old metal one on craigs list and it went real fast. The only jeeps I've seen in my area over my 38 years of life that have had hard tops have been the 7s and the newer style jeeps. Did the fives come with soft tops? I guess they are rare? Is there a way to cut down and refiberglass one made for a seven or something else and how would i do the doors? Thanks for any help. My wife really wants one for this winter and since it's her daily and she drives our five year old to school with her in the back seat, i kind of need to make it happen.
