Magnaflow DIRECT-FIT CATALYTIC CONVERTER

Ive had an exhaust rattle for the last month and have determined it to be the pre cats on my 2002 Overland. The muffler shop quoted me $700 to replace the pre cat assembly. That seemed high to me. I found that magnaflow makes a "direct replacement" and am wondering if any one here has done this themselves and how much of a pain the the *** it is. Is it unbolt the old and bolt in the new? Any cutting involved? How close is the fitment to original? At some point I wanted to to a cat back, might as well do it all together...
