Towards the end of the year I'll be moving from Dubai back to my native UK, and I'll be in the market for a new Grand Cherokee. It'll be a DD and it'll be left totally stock.
For the money I want to pay, I can get either a late-model ZJ or an early-model WJ. Which should I go for?
I'm naturally leaning towards the ZJ, because I've got to know my 93 pretty much inside-out. I know that the WJ has better steering and brakes (at least as long as the Akebono swap has been done), but there's also the feeling that the early years of any new model tend to be more problematic than later ones. Then again, the WJ is a more modern design, and the ZJ is let down by the feel of the brakes and steering...
I genuinely can't make up my mind which way I should go on this. The only thing that would nail it for me is if I can find a niner. They do exist in the UK, but they're super-rare.

Late ZJ or early WJ? Heresy, I know...
