Have a '98 Grand Cherokee 5.9 stock 46RE trans and replaced the solenoid, valve and sensor because it threw a code. My question is, would a bad torque converter still allow me to run through all the gears? It seems to shift fine (I think) but I seem to have one hellofa rotational vibration at about 1900-2200 RPM but seems to smooth out from there.
