Hey folks - newbie here....
Bought a 2014 JK last year and love it! I've got my first spring/summer coming up, though, and I want to be able to enjoy my new toy with the hardtop off. I've already learned the hard way that my wife, although I love her dearly and she let me buy my Wrangler, cannot help with the hardtop (nice gouge in side of new Jeep to remind me - black shows scratches really well).
I'd like to install a hardtop hoist in my garage... I've read some horrible reviews of the Lange stuff... Is it really that bad? Are there decent alternatives? I'm fairly handy, and don't mind the idea of building myself; but, free time is hard to come by and if I can just buy and get the job done, the extra cost is worth it to me.
I'm sure there's a thread on this topic... Anyone want to lend an opinion or point me the right direction?
