I have 2003 GC with the 4.0 not sure which tranny but when merging on highways or accelerating quickly I hear a humming noise. It sounds similar to a supercharger whine. Could it be my pulleys, driveshaft or tranny? My Jeep has 220k miles with everythat it came with from factory besides balljoints. I was wondering if this is a sign of major wear and should be taken care of, or it is nothing major and I shouldnt be too worried. It has been making this noise for probably about 15k miles.
