Milky oil ONLY on rear CCV elbow? 4.0L

jeudi 5 mars 2015

So I was checking the rear CCV elbow (pulled it out to see it was clean) and I noticed right away that the underside is COVERED in a 'thick' milky oil; like what youd see if you had a bad head gasket.

The dipstick shows nothing out of the ordinary, the oil/coolant levels are unchanged, no overheating, good compression, and the oil (recently changed) was fine coming out. The oil fill cover is also clean, as are the rockers from what I can see.

Any ideas what this is from? I DO have a leak on the valve cover grommet, so could water be getting into the valve cover or something?
