No lift, but best shocks money can buy??

Question 1- Just curious how this would perform? Lets just say you bought the absolute best shocks you could buy that would fit and kept everything else bone stock. How much of an impact would this make for light/ moderate flat trails and washes?



Question 2- If you wanted to get the expense of the shocks out of the way first and plan on going 3" lift later on, can you install shocks that have longer travel first and then add the lift after? Now, assuming you wouldn't be using the shock to its full potential until you increased the actual wheel travel.
