Here is my delema and I admit its a good one to have but I can't make up my mind. Common sense tells me to stick with my jeep but the kid in me wants the new shinny toy.
I currently have a pretty much stock 2008 Rubicon unlimited. It has 56k miles and I can get about $22-24k for trade in. There is nothing wrong with it.
Dealer has a 2013 10th anniversary rubicon with 41k miles for $37,500 with lift, winch, and 35's.
So for $13-14k I can upgrade, get a supposidly better motor, newer and cooler vehicle but don't gain much else (such as miles) other than getting the 10th anniversary rubicon that I want.
I'm trying to justify the purchase in my mind so, My question is for a better engine with 15k less miles and a few more options is it worth the $14k for the upgrade? Those that have moved from the 3.8L to the 3.6L is it worth it?
Thanks everyone for your input. My post is not to sound like a whinner. My wife gave me the green light I just can't justify $14k in my mind so I need someone to talk me into it.
