04 Rubicon TJ. Took out rear driveshaft to check u joints. For the heck of it when the driveshaft was out I spun the output shaft coming out of the transfer case. Noticed it did not spin like a wheel bearing does. I could feel something like gears meshing. Not grinding or anything like that. No up and down movement. Just asking if its normal. No particular reason to think something is hosed up.
