Hey guys!
I'm hoping for some quick advice. It's a 2000 Cherokee classic with the 4.0 and 5-speed manual. Everytime I go to switch on the starter, the whole electrical system trips out until I unhook the battery and hook it back up. I assumed there was a dead short in the starter solenoid or motor, so I replaced the starter and have been having the same issue. I checked every ign/starter fuse and relay and they all seem to be working. I am at my wit and wallet's end on this. Any advice helps!
edit- I am able to catch it in gear and it will run fine.
