I have an 82 CJ7 4.2 L with the vast majority of the emissions removed. My question is the routing of the vacuum line for the PCV. Currently it shares a line with the vacuum booster taking its vacuum off the manifold. It seems to draw a lot of air through it, when I use pliers to crimp it off the idle changes quite a bit. There is a seco d place I can hook it; off the bottom of the carb. But there is zero vacuum through this port. Any thoughts on this? Seems the amount of vacuum being drawn through the PCV is more like a huge ma ifold air leak. Unless this is the right way to run it. Attached a couple pictures to show the locations I am talking about.
