I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I'm trying to pass emissions.
The Check-Engine light is not on, however my OBDII Code scanner says that the MIL (Malfunction indicator lamp) is "ON".
I thought they were the same thing?
Note: There is a P1762 code (transmission) code showing and and 3 drive cycles are incomplete.
