I'm in the middle of a nightmare drivetrain issue on my wrangler. When I was driving on the interstate the car lost power to the wheels- I.E. engine kept running fine, just no power to wheels. Transmission will still go into gear and all, but no power to wheels in 2H, 4H, 4L. Replaced transfer case, but that did not fix anything. Could it be a clutch problem? Transmission? I am getting a small grinding noise when i put it in 4L. Very confused, very frustrated. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
