I've been experiencing some minor problems, and I cant tell if they're getting worse, or if I'm just more aware. My 2000 Jeep WJ 4.0 L6 seems to have a bit of a laggy feel when changing gears. Such as when I'm accelerating up a hill, or if I have to really hit it hard accelerating on an on ramp it will rev high, jerk into gear, and then go back to normal. It doesn't always do this, but it is fairly often. If I feel it coming I try to let off though to minimize the jerk.
Another symptom is when I'm going highway speed and let off the gas I'll feel a slight bump feel, and when I put my foot back on the gas I'll feel a slight jerk again.
Here's what I've read are possibilities.
Slip Yoke needs re-greased.
TPS.
Spark plugs. (But I don't have rough idle issues)
Can anyone help me narrow it down?
