New member introduction

I joined the forum earlier this week and didn’t really give a good introduction about myself so I figured I’ll letcha all get to know me a bit better.
I’m a 9 year veteran, did 4 yrs in the Navy and 5 yrs in the Army. I got out to attend college and am working on my Mechanical Engineering Technology degree. I just got done with all the pre-req’s and have about 2 more years left.
I’m hoping to get a job with designing/ fabricating suspension lifts and off road parts.. with a bit of R&D play time. We have some good machines at Central Michigan University (fire up chips!!) and I plan on using them while in school to make some of my own parts.
I have a 2010 wrangler that I Mrs. Pearl because her color is Deep Sea Pearl Blue.

I have a friend that’s letting me use his pole barn to do a frame off restoration on my ’87 Chevy K5 Blazer (mudpup).

Here’s my build thread on that if you want to check it out.

I’ll be making a NP 203/205 doubler adaptor sometime after school starts back up and I can use the CNC machine.
But I haven’t had the time lately or the funds to mess with my Blazer since I’m a broke college student lol. So I’m working on my buddy’s Willys that’s on a cj7 frame. I’ll snag some pics of it the next time I’m out there and post them up.
Anyways I’m running down the wire on time left before school starts back up. I really want to get my buddy’s jeep on the road for him. If you can please take a look at the thread that I’ve started on it and give advice if you can.
