I have been having problems with overboost 2005 2.8 CRD Limited (P0234) for some time and now it's got worse! I have checked the actuator which operates with no leaks. The gate is moving freely, solenoid clicking and opening OK. New MAP sensor and MAF sensor looks clean and air filter changed. Everything that may relieve turbo pressure and may cause overboost seems to be OK. Any ideas what to look at next? T I A
One other thing is when it's at tick over I rev it up the actuator moves about 1/2". Surely it should only move when it needs to reduce manifold pressure and stay shut until the pressure needs to be reduced?
