My 2008 Overland has a new issue involving the passenger side mirror...The mirror does not adjust properly and seems to get "stuck" if I position it in a particular way. The power does work and in certain positions it does in fact move in all 4 directions but seems to get hung up at certain spots. I have tried moving it by hand in all directions but it still does the same thing. I can hear the motor inside trying to move the mirror but it just stays in the same spot.
Also, the auto dim feature of this mirror seems to be broken. The driver's side and rearview mirror will dim automatically but the passenger's side is not functional. There seems to be no visible damage to the mirror but I have had a very hard time trying to pry the mirror off the vehicle to inspect it.
Any tips on removing the mirror glass and what to check once I remove it?
