I have noticed this several days during my lunch break. Today, while in line at bank drive through, I hear this "tap" that occurs maybe every 10 seconds. Sounds like it would if someone had a small object (penny maybe) and is tapping it softly on the roof. I opened the moonroof, but it continued.
I even parked afterwards and shut the engine off. Still got the tap sound.
A couple of weeks back this happened and I later went back out to the car and sat in it and it was no longer doing it. What the heck could this be?
