I have the UConnect 730N/RHR in my 2014 Jeep. I am unhappy with the OEM GPS software. The system will not allow for the addition of a trail map database; none of the local fire roads can be viewed. I talked to the vendor and Jeep; each pointed their fingers at each other and provided no solution. According to the Jeep, unless there are more complaints about the lack of trail maps, their engineers will not explore a fix.
Does anyone know of a way to dump the OEM GPS software and replace it with a Garmin software format?
Or does someone have a modification (aside from buying a Garmin Device and mounting it to the dash) that will allow OEM software to accept third party GPS data vendors?
