Mdelosrey's Jeep ZJ Build/Repair thread

mercredi 7 mai 2014

Decided to document my ZJ's journey to glory...ish. I figured I'd keep all my crap in this thread since parts are starting to roll in. My goal for this project is to have a reliable explorer. Make it a little more "capable" than stock but not modified to the point where it's uncomfortable and not ideal for daily driving.

Background: its a 93 Limited. Bought from family friend at 200K miles. Engine ran great but had start-up issues, intermittent stall, multiple warning lights, noisy rear lsd, and tires had good tread but dry cracked sidewalls.

Fixed all the warning lights, start-up issues, stalling issues, noisy lsd, and it now runs pretty great considering it has 200k.
