Hi,
I have been diagnosing a lound clunk noise that happens when I turn. I have the front drive shaft plus both front axels currently getting new ujoints pressed. I have been reading and someone suggested to look at the motor and trans mount. I looked today and could only find two small bolts that attached the mount to the skid plate near the rear. I also found a larger bolt on the driver side. My question is, the bolt and what looks like bushings are way to small for the hole. This is causing the bolt to float except for a small but connecting it to the skid plate. Could this maybe cause my noise, or does this look right? I also took off the pan bars the other day with no luck of stoping the clunk. also the rear shaft has new ujoints. Before I pull the diff covers I want to try all other cheap fixes first. Any info is appreciated.
