Recently decided to email my Vin number to Chrysler and they told me there were 3 recalls on my jeep.. here is the results :
After reviewing vehicle information, I can see that there was a safety
recall (755) for the Fuel Tank Sending Unit that was issued to VIN on
06/10/98 and completed on 02/03/99, plus there is an open emissions
recall (E22) which is for Reprogramming PCM and Inspect Catalytic
Converter.
My question is, I no longer have my original PCM. Had a few issues last year and it was cheap enough to try the PCM. I don't know the Vin of the new PCM I have currently in my jeep.
My fuel pump died on me 3 years ago and I replaced it myself. So what happens with that? And 3rd, I recently cut out my cat because it was bad and I used the money for other stuff I needed instead of replacing it right away. So there is no cat to inspect. Is it worth bringing in if I already fixed it all myself?
