Blower motor woes.

So i got a new blower motor and put it in. at first it worked great! then it just slowed for a sec then stopped entirely. it came back on once after and ran for a alittle then just slowed for a second then stopped entirely.

any idea? resistor maybe bad?

also. A/C compressor doesn't engage? it is seemingly low on Freon. would that cause this?
