hi ive looked around and maybe some one could point me in the direction of the right post or answer some questions.
iv got an 89 wrangler with a weber 32/36 carb its about as simple as it could get it runs great most of the time but iv started to notice some issues with the engine and seeing as iv been wanting to do a 4.7 l stroker swap iv started looking around.
my question is will i be able to use my current intake manifold and headers on the stroked 4.0 block/head. from what i can tell they seem really similar but i dont know for sure.
from what iv read the 4.0 should bolt up to my current transmission ax-15 i presume the clutch/slave cylinder will be ok to keep aswell am i right ?
also motor mounts will they need to be re positioned or will they be ok.
and does this all depend on what year the 4.0 is or do they all stay pretty uniform?
