I've got a mostly stock 2 dr JK, looking for some extra illumination for night time driving through pastures and woods for getting into position while hunting. This Jeep is my DD.
I'm looking at swapping bumpers to the Rugged Ridge XHD modular bumper with the standard end caps. It looks like it pretty closely follows the profile of the factory bumper.
I want to put a couple flat LED light bars here where I drew them in with paint. Has anyone ever done anything like that? Any tips or recommendations?
Only other lights I've mounted are some "rock lights" I installed. They haven't been used much for their namesake purpose, but they are handy when loading up pre-dawn in the field, or when wrangling kids around in parking lots.
