axle seal replacement - Dana 44 front

I have an axle seal leaking diff fluid on the front of a 2005 Rubicon with the Dana 44.



I found a good write up for the Dana 30 and I was wondering how different the Dana 44 will be ?

This write up makes it look super simple.

Is there anything different between the Dana 30 and Dana 44 on replacing the axle seals ?

Do I need to watch for any shims to fall out when pulling the carrier or are they all captured ?

Any tricks or tips beyond the write up linked above ?

Any brand of seal better than the others ?



I've never pulled a carrier but the write up makes this look pretty simple..... just want to make sure I'm not getting in over my head on this one.
