`88 4.0 with Renix. Been sitting for a couple of years and gas went bad. Removed tank, flushed out completely replaced fuel pump, hoses, filter blah blah blah. Everything is back to normal, but...motor will not start. Last year it fired up with the old gas and had no fuel pressure because hose had deteriorated at fuel pump. There was still gas being pushed to fuel rail just no pressure. It would idle and then die when depressing pedal. Now everything has been fixed. Fresh gas, injectors are clean, fuel pressure but motor will not fire a lick. I can pour some fuel in throttle body and will fire up for a couple seconds.
Is there a simple one person check to find out if the injectors are firing?
Any diagnostics to check electrical issues? Its has a `90 model wiring harness without the bulkhead. The grounds and splice issues have been resolved several years ago.
