I have a 2001 TJ, Standard. Recently my husband had a slight mishap and our jeep ended up in our lake with about an inch on passenger floor board. After pulling it out, he flushed out everything and we changed out a few sensors in it. It ran great for about a month, then starting having a problem. Now we are experiencing a loud noise coming from underneath the jeep, while accelerating. If you let off gas, the noise stops. The more you press the gas, the louder and more noticable the noise it. We have been told by several people that it could be different things such as Throw-out bearing or the CV joints. Please help because I miss driving my jeep!!:confused:
