I picked up a 1986 Warn 8274 a few months ago that had a cracked lower housing, but tested fine as far as running in/out on the bench before I bought it. I brought it home and welded it all back together, cleaned, painted, and reassembled it and got it mounted on the Jeep last night.
As I was respooling the cable the solenoids started to just click. If you tap on them with a hammer they will work for a few seconds then quit again. All conections are good and clean. So I'm assuming I need new solenoids, no big deal. Except I can't find any. Seams Warn doesn't offer them anymore.
Is my only option buying the new style solenoid pack?
