Last time I changed my oil I used Quaker State Defy, I don't like it because lifter tick was louder and oil pressure is higher. Since it's a blend do I need to continue using blends/full synthetic or can I go back to regular oil?
I was considering trying Rotela T5 but not sure if I should. I have 171k miles and am developing some slow leaks now, I can see oil around the rear main seal and other spots on the bottom of the engine. I may just go to Pennzoil yellow bottle but wanted to find out if I can after using a blend.
