90 yj chevy 5.3 fuel issues

i want to use my 90 yj 20gallon tank for my 08 5.3 chevy motor, problem i have is the sending unit is from a carb motor. is there a replacement sending unit that i can use for my tank where the line will be big enough for the chevy motor? i think also I'm going to use an external fuel pump, but if there is a setup where i can use it all in the tank with the same size lines for the chevy motor that would be great to. thanks!
