Hi All
Happy New Year!!
I have read through lots of threads reagrding this issue but couldnt seem to find a soild answer.
So my issue is this,
Couple of months ago i stopped getting air out of the front vents. At first i thought it was a vacuum leak somewhere but found nothing.
Im starting to think its a problem with the blend doors themselves, are these a common problem on the XJ like they are on the Grand Cherokee?
The reason im leaning towards a blend door problem is because i can still change the direction of the airflow. If i select defrost its all ok, if i select it to go to the floor then its all good and if i split between defrost and floor thats ok too. When it comes to the face vents i can hear the airflow change direction behind the dash but it sound like its blocked and i get no air.
i had a look behind the dash and i can see the little lever move in and out when i select the face vents but still no air.
Any advice would be brilliant.
Cheers
