swapping 4.2 for jasper 304 in 87 yj wiring ?

I blew up my 4.2 in my 87 yj the other day or actually spun a bearing but i found a jasper 304 with some mods married to a sm465 I know iv got to move one motor mount and some other simple stuff to get it in place what i am wondering about is the 4.2 is computer controlled to an extent with its ignition module and mcu and what not i was wanting to know if when wiring the 304 in if i could keep the distributor and coil controlled by the ignition module or if i would have to completely rewire it? I'm picking up the motor and tranny this saturday so responses would be very helpful thanks in advanced
