1997 Jeep wrangler
6 Cylinder engine. with Manual transmission
197k miles (as most know, this engine will go on kicking a lot longer than that).
Speedometer gear was replaced, so mileage and speed is accurate.
The Jeep comes with a hard top, a bikini top, a rear cargo netting, a rear cargo cover, and a soft top with quick release brackets. However the soft top cloth is ripped and probably should be repaired or replaced. The frame however is good, which will save a lot of money if you want to go soft top route. Since the fabric is a lot cheaper to buy on its own than a whole new soft top setup.
I also installed round LED tail lights, to get rid of the blocky old lights.
What I have done to the jeep:
4 currie Johnny joint suspension with anti-rock sway bar and adjustable control arms- $3000
Front axle HP Dana 30 w/ Detroit locker (4.88 Gears) - $1500
Rear Axle Ford 8.8 w/super 88 kit and Detroit Locker (4.88 gear)- $2000
Tires - Goodyear wrangler MTR with kevlar sidewalls 35 has about 90-95% tread left, has lifetime warranty that will cover damage from on road or off road - $1200
On Board air system, 150 PSI, 5 gallon tank - $800
Rear axle moved back 3, Custom installed rear shock towers, Bilstien shocks front and rear, and installed 19.5 Gal genright ext gas tank - $1200
Front bumper - smittybilt XRC with XRC 8 winch -$400
rear bumper - smittybilt XRC - $300
Winch - Smittybilt XRC8 - $300
Skid row skid plates (steering box, Front lower control arm, radiator guard, transmission/belly guard) as well as mirror relocation brackets - $750
trail gear rocker rails - $150
Hard top - $1000
Bikini top and rear cargo cover - $300
Ravelco anti theft - $500
Thumb throttle/throttle lock - $100
K&N cold air intake - $300
Lifetime Firestone Tire alignments (technically non-transferable, but they have never asked me for an ID. They have the license plate on file) - $300
Overall I spent roughly $14.5 k+ on accessories and modifications (without any labor costs)
I bought the jeep for $7500 which means Ive spent over $22k on this jeep.
I just reduced the price on this so it will hopefully sell quickly. I just broke my jaw and need the money to pay for medical bills and I am moving out of state soon.
If Buyer wants to set up shipping I am open to discussion, but Payment must clear first. PM me, and we can talk about options if this is an interest.
This Is truly a fun crawler.
ASKING PRICE $13,500. If this does not sell in fresno by this weekend. I will be moving it to the Bay area to sell it there.
