2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport w/ 4.5" Lift
I tried to be as detailed as possible. Please read first before emailing with questions.
Jeep History:
I'm only the second owner of this Jeep and bought it completely stock with 60,000 miles. I drove it around stock for a couple years but got the Jeep itch. I installed a 3 inch lift with 30 inch tires and drove that for a couple years. I then installed a Rough Country 4.5 inch lift at 165,000 miles. This Jeep currently has 182,000 miles. It's a solid Jeep and has no major issues with it. The engine, transmission, transfer case, and axles are all in perfect working condition. I'm super anal when it comes to the preventative maintenance of my vehicles. This Jeep has had a full synthetic oil change every 5,000 miles since I've owned it. All other fluids checked regularly and changed when needed. The Jeep 4.0L Inline 6 cylinder engine can easily get over 300,000 miles when properly maintained.
Only reason I'm selling this Jeep is I plan on buying something newer within the next year and I have a car as my daily driver. This Jeep has mostly road miles on it. I only have done mild off roading with it. Usually just log roads, dirt roads, etc.. up North. I never used this Jeep as a rock crawler or extreme off roading. It drives awesome on the highway with no death wobble. I drove 500 mile round trips all the time with no issues. I would feel comfortable driving this Jeep any ware.
Like I said, this Jeep has no major mechanical issues. It has a fresh oil change and a full tank of gas. You can get in and drive away today. It does have some minor surface rust on the bottom of the doors and a few other spots. But it's all very solid and not rusted out. Also a few paint scratches and small dents. Remember this is a 15 year old Jeep that has survived extreme Northern winters and road salt.
Extremely Clean Inside! Non Smoker. No Pets.
I really hate to sell this Jeep but it's time to move on. I would rather sell it to someone that is going to use it daily than have it sit in my driveway. I've only put on a little over 3,000 miles on it in the past year. Come take a look at it before I change my mind! Haha.
