Has anyone used both of these tires? I'm down to 2, partially due to size and partially do to on road ability and cost. The jeep has a 2.25" lift on it but I do not want to go much bigger to keep the fuel economy as high as possible. Also kicked around the size of 255/75 or 265/75 both are a little wider and about the same height.
I'm leaning towards either the General grabber AT2 , or the Cooper Discoverer AT3. One son will be using the ZJ for commutes to and from College, 50 miles a day on hwy and interstate, the other will use for some off road trail riding once in a while. We do get some snow, but it's hit and miss, maybe allot maybe a few inches a year.
Not apposed to other choices, or trying to start up an old on going argument on tires, just wondering if anyone has used both of these particular ones and I'd really like to know which held up best to 8000 miles of interstate and hwy a year? Thanks
