Short story shorter, I hit a big hole.
It messed up a few things, but the big one is the axle is bent. It's drivable as long as I keep it under 45 and baby the corners.
I had an estimate for a remanufactured assembly and about dropped a brick; $3,000. A used one with 100k+ miles would be a grand less. My Jeep only has 43k on it, but I'll be getting rid of it next year.
Am I way off base or are these guys trying to get one over on me? I plan on looking around more, But right now I'm just kind of numb.
