There is a weird noise coming from either my transfer case or my front drive shaft. Sometimes when I am driving it makes a weird noise like rubbing or ticking. sounds like metal tapping metal. (ding ding ding). Gets slower when I slow down and vice versa.
When I put it in 4 low, it makes it even louder. I am wondering if I can take my front drive shaft out to see if that is the problem. I already changed the transfer case fluid and it didn't help.
Any advice is appreciated.
