I am looking for a realistic assessment and value for my 1980 cj7 Laredo.
It is very solid except for some bubbles on the sides and around the taillights it is rotted (seems like it was hanging out of a barn) It has been parked since the mid 90's. all original and complete interior is in good shape including the carpet the 304 runs strong and it shifts good I dropped the gas tank on it and am in the process of replacing it due to the jeep setting so long. I ran the jeep off of a container filled with gas ,I also rebuilt the carb and installed a new fuel pump and filter to get it running.
The downside is I have no title for it, I have tried contacting the prior owner which is a dead end street it seems.
So I guess my question is what is it worth assuming of course new gas tank and such installed with the jeep running and driving without a title.
