Currently have Dave's rack on my jeep tj, I'm the 2nd owner but first was a close friend, and i bought it off him
Now my backseat is gone, and i don't need the storage or function of it anymore
I made 2 modifications, one is that I put little tabs on the front to hold a light bar. The welds are not that pretty, but theyve held up for 6+months
The other modification I made was the rear supports that attach the rack to the body
One side was bent due to my friend backing into a wall, so I remade the parts and they're much heavier duty. Those were all welded by my friend, well done and clean. I then needed a small tab to connect the body so I welded it on myself. Not pretty but works well, no issue with 3 people sitting on top
Want 400 but also want it gone, trying hard for 350
